Horsham Liberal Democrats thank former District Councillor for Denne Ward, Frances Haigh, for her years of service to Horsham, following her recent resignation due to relocating to North Yorkshire.
Leader of the HDC Lib Dem Group, Cllr Louise Potter said,
"I would like to thank Frances Haigh, who has recently resigned as District Councillor for Denne Ward, for her service and dedication over the last two and a half years.
"Frances was re-elected to the council in 2019, having previously served until 2015, and she brought with her a wealth of experience and expertise, which was valued across the council. She served as the leader of the Liberal Democrat group from May 2020 until August 2021 and navigated us through what were some very challenging times for the council.
"On behalf of the Liberal Democrat group, I would like to wish Frances the very best in her new home in North Yorkshire."
