The 144 Club

144.

That was the number of years the Conservatives had represented Horsham in parliament - until last 4th July!

On election night - and into the morning - you could tell the result was going to be close. It had been a hard-fought campaign, a tough campaign. But thanks to supporters like you we sent political shockwaves across Horsham, Sussex and the country with our historic win.

Holding Horsham for the Liberal Democrats at the next general election is central to my newly formed ‘144 Club’ - a club with a name and number that serves as a reminder to what we achieved together last year.
 

Will you become a Founding Member of the ‘144 Club’? 

My ‘144 Club’ is a way for local party members and supporters like you to make a regular donation directly to the Liberal Democrats here in Horsham.

Will you make a regular donation of at least £12 a month - £144 per year - to support our campaigns?

I know many of you already contribute to the national party through membership, have made past donations and offer other support.

But this new regular contribution means we can plan with confidence month in, month out, including:

• Securing office space for our local party's campaigning activities
• Funding local party staff, such as our Campaigns Organiser
• Producing regular leaflets that reach ALL our residents, communicating how here in Horsham and in Westminster we are working hard for them

Yet most importantly, your regular contributions mean that we can be ready for the next election and run the best campaign possible to win once again. Winning three back-to-back by-elections has taken a toll on Party finances. 

Thank you for the support you already give to the Liberal Democrats in Horsham and nationally. I would be grateful if you would consider making this additional, regular contribution of £12 a month.
