Horsham Town Council
A new Parish Council for Horsham Town
Why is Horsham getting a new Town (Parish) Council?
With Horsham District Council set to merge with neighbouring district & borough councils under local government reorganisation plans, 75% of residents backed a new Town (Parish) Council.
Having a new Horsham Town Council ensures local decision-making stays here in Horsham.
The new Town Council will be able to manage community assets like allotments, play areas and bandstands, and partner directly with active, local organisations.

Our Priorities for Horsham's new Town (Parish) Council
Protecting our Green Spaces
Lib Dems saved Rookwood from development and protected Horsham Park. As new town councillors we’ll continue to champion and improve our local green spaces for residents.
Investing in our community
We saved the Drill Hall, launched Friday Lates, are refurbishing The Capitol and delivering Highwood’s Community Centre. We’ll work to keep our community and town centre thriving.
Giving Horsham a strong voice
Lib Dems delivered our new Town Council and now your Lib Dem candidates are ready to work hard, putting the new council on a firm financial footing and continuing to deliver on our promise for a Better Horsham.
