Sam Raby was born in Colgate and moved back to the area in 2006 to live nearer grandparents and to raise his children in this friendly community. Sam stood to be a Councillor because he wanted to give something back and make sure that it remains a great place to raise children, earn a living and to retire in too. He is proud to have represented this area as the Horsham District Councillor for Roffey South since 2021 and as a nearby County Councillor since 2025, working hard to get things done for local residents. Sam understands the importance of road safety and as chair of Horsham Community Safety Partnership, pushed to make highway safety a top priority. With his experience, Sam now wants to help to guide Horsham’s newest council.
