Analysis of new Home Office statistics commissioned by the Liberal Democrats from the House of Commons Library has shown the number of Police Community Support Officers (PCSOs) on the streets has fallen dramatically by 27.8% since 2015.

West Sussex Liberal Democrats welcome more funding for highways but express worries this is a one off Conservative election plan
Liberal Democrat councillors at WSCC have welcomed the allocation of more money for highway maintenance after their proposal to do this a year ago. However, they warned that with no promise of increased funding beyond this year that this could be nothing more than cynical electioneering by Conservatives with one eye on the May elections.

No action on sewage till 2038 – MP Jeremy Quin votes to do nothing
Horsham MP Jeremy Quin joined his fellow Conservatives to vote through a "shamefully low" target for cutting sewage dumping and reducing harmful phosphates in our rivers. Shadow Cabinet Member for the Environment, Cllr John Milne (Lib Dem, Roffey North): "This is nothing short of a crisis, but the response is to do little or nothing. I can only assume that the health of Horsham District’s rivers are not a priority for Jeremy Quin."
